Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 Release Time Set

Netflix releases Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 on Christmas Day, with three new episodes arriving globally at the same time. The final episode will stream on New Year’s Eve.

Fans of Stranger Things are counting down to Christmas Day, when Netflix drops Volume 2 of the show’s fifth and final season.

The second volume includes Episodes 5, 6, and 7 and will premiere on December 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. PT. This release follows the first four episodes, which arrived in late November and set the stage for the show’s endgame.

Volume 2 picks up as Hawkins remains under siege, with Vecna advancing his plan and the group racing to stop him. Will Byers’ evolving abilities, the growing threat from the Upside Down, and the town’s military lockdown all play into the final stretch of the story.

Netflix has also confirmed episode runtimes for the Christmas release. Episode 5, titled Shock Jock, runs just over an hour. Episode 6, Escape From Camazotz, extends slightly longer, while Episode 7, The Bridge, continues the buildup toward the series finale.

The final episode of Stranger Things will debut on December 31, also at 8:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. PT. In select regions, the finale will receive limited theatrical screenings, offering fans a shared viewing experience to close out the series.

Season 5 marks the conclusion of the globally popular show, which began in 2016. Set in 1987, the final season brings the story of Eleven, Mike, Will, and the rest of the Hawkins group to its long planned ending.

Netflix has confirmed that all new episodes are available exclusively on its platform and require a paid subscription.
