Cardi B Calls Out “Mean” Fans Amid Scrutiny of Relationship With Stefon Diggs

Cardi B has urged fans to ease their criticism as online scrutiny grows around her relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs, saying the backlash has added stress during a demanding period in her life.

Cardi B has publicly pushed back against what she described as “mean” behavior from fans who have been closely scrutinizing her relationship with NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

In a candid video shared on X, the Grammy-winning rapper told followers to “calm down,” saying the past several days of online commentary had gone too far. Cardi, 33, said she has felt overwhelmed by criticism tied to her personal life, particularly following speculation about her relationship with Diggs.

“I can’t change s***. I can’t go back in time. I already had a baby,” she said, responding directly to online remarks questioning her choices. She added that she is preparing for an intense year ahead, including long rehearsal days for her upcoming tour, and urged fans to be supportive rather than critical.

The comments followed online speculation after Cardi and Diggs, 32, appeared to spend Christmas apart. The couple welcomed a baby boy in November, their first child together. Fans noted Diggs’ absence from Cardi’s holiday social media posts, while the New England Patriots player shared images of some of his other children during the festive period.

Despite the chatter, Cardi emphasized that she needs encouragement from her fan base. “I need my support system to love me,” she said, asking followers to wish her well as she navigates both motherhood and a demanding work schedule.

Public appearances in recent months suggest the pair remain on solid terms. Cardi and Diggs were seen together courtside at an NBA playoff game at Madison Square Garden in May, and Cardi was later spotted attending a New England Patriots game, signaling continued support.

Neither Cardi nor Diggs has indicated any change in their relationship status. For now, the artist’s message was clear. She is asking for space, understanding, and less judgment as she balances family life with her career.
