Former NFL offensive lineman Matt Kalil has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, social media influencer Haley Baylee, alleging invasion of privacy following explicit remarks she made during a livestream that spread widely across social media platforms.

According to court filings, the comments were made during a live broadcast in November 2025 and included graphic references to Kalil’s body and their former marriage. The remarks quickly went viral, drawing extensive public attention and sparking widespread online discussion.

Kalil alleges the statements were degrading, deeply personal, and unrelated to any matter of public interest. He claims the comments caused emotional distress and led to unwanted scrutiny, harassment, and disturbing messages directed at both him and his family.

The lawsuit seeks damages exceeding $75,000 and also includes a claim of unjust enrichment. Kalil argues that his ex-wife benefited from increased visibility, engagement, and monetization following the viral circulation of the remarks.

Kalil, who played for the Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Panthers, retired from professional football after injuries shortened his career. He has largely maintained a private life since his divorce in 2022 and remarried in 2024. The filing states that the public exposure has impacted his current family, including his wife and child.

Baylee has publicly responded to the lawsuit, describing her reaction as shock and emotional pain. She stated that the comments were taken out of context and emphasized that the broader livestream included positive reflections on their relationship. Baylee said she never intended to shame or humiliate her former husband and described the legal action as emotionally draining.

The case highlights growing legal and ethical questions around privacy, online platforms, and the consequences of sharing intimate details in public digital spaces. The matter is expected to proceed through the courts, where a jury will determine whether the remarks constituted a legal violation of privacy.
