Former Nickelodeon actor Tylor Chase, best known for his role as Martin Qwerly on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, has become the focus of widespread concern after videos surfaced showing him living on the streets in California.

The clips, first shared on social media earlier this year, show Chase in Riverside and Los Angeles appearing distressed. The footage quickly went viral, sparking discussion among fans about the challenges some former child actors face later in life.

Following the videos, a short lived fundraising effort was launched to provide food, clothing, and basic necessities. The campaign was later paused by Chase’s family. His mother has publicly stated that he is dealing with b*polar disorder and ongoing financial hardship.

Former co star Daniel Curtis Lee has confirmed visiting Chase and expressed concern about his struggles, emphasizing that long term housing and structured support are needed rather than temporary solutions. Lee urged fans to avoid speculation and instead focus on compassion.

Chase worked alongside Devon Werkheiser and Lindsey Shaw during the show’s run from 2004 to 2007. The cast has remained publicly supportive while acknowledging the complexity of his situation.

As of late 2025, Chase was still reported by local residents to be living without stable housing. Supporters continue to hope that increased awareness will lead to sustained assistance and recovery.
