Casio has officially revealed its first full-size Pokémon-themed G-SHOCK watch, marking one of the brand's most ambitious collaborations as it celebrates the Pokémon franchise's 30th anniversary.
The new GA110PKM-7A is based on Casio's popular oversized GA-110 series and is the first standard G-SHOCK model created in partnership with Pokémon, moving beyond the smaller Baby-G editions released in previous collaborations.
Inspired by Pokémon's Origins
The watch pays tribute to the original Pokémon games released in Japan in 1996.
Red, blue and green accents throughout the bezel, buttons and dial reference the original game versions, while the watch face includes a Poké Ball-inspired subdial and hands designed to resemble Pikachu's iconic silhouette.
The resin band showcases artwork featuring 30 Pokémon representing every generation of the franchise, beginning with the original Kanto starters and continuing through the latest Paldea region. Pikachu, Eevee and the mythical Pokémon Mew also receive special design elements throughout the watch.
The anniversary edition is packaged inside a Poké Ball-inspired presentation box and includes a commemorative 30th anniversary engraving on the caseback.
Classic G-SHOCK Durability
Beyond its collectible design, the watch retains the rugged functionality that has made the GA-110 one of Casio's best-known models.
Features include:
- 200-meter water resistance
- Shock resistance
- Magnetic resistance
- World time covering 29 time zones
- Five daily alarms
- 1/1000-second stopwatch
- Full automatic calendar through 2099
The combination of durability and Pokémon-themed design makes the model appealing to both collectors and everyday G-SHOCK users.
Release Date and Availability
Casio says U.S. pre-orders will begin on July 1, with the watch officially launching globally on July 17.
The model is priced at $270 in the United States, while some international markets, including Japan, are expected to distribute the watch through lottery-based sales due to anticipated demand.
The collaboration joins a growing list of limited-edition G-SHOCK releases that combine popular entertainment franchises with Casio's signature watch designs.
