Model and actress Olivia Culpo is already building a personal archive for her infant daughter, Colette, setting aside items that mark defining moments in her own life and career.
In a recent interview, Culpo shared that she has begun carefully storing clothing and memorabilia for her five month old child, including outfits from Colette’s early months. She said the process feels constant as her daughter quickly outgrows each stage of clothing, prompting regular sorting and preservation.
Among the most meaningful items Culpo plans to pass down are the gowns she wore during her 2012 Miss USA and Miss Universe victories. The former beauty queen described those dresses as symbols of a pivotal chapter in her life and said she wants her daughter to have access to that history when she is older.
Culpo is also preserving her custom Dolce and Gabbana wedding gown from her June 2024 marriage to San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey. She explained that the dress represented the seriousness and commitment of that moment, making it an especially meaningful keepsake.
While fashion plays a central role in the collection, Culpo emphasized that she does not expect her daughter to follow in her footsteps. She said she hopes Colette will discover her own passions, adding that athletics could be in her future given her father’s background.
Colette has already reached several early milestones, including rolling over and attending her first professional football game. For Culpo, preserving these tangible memories is about honoring the past while leaving space for her daughter to define her own path.
