Tyler Hilton has confirmed that he and his wife, Megan Park, have decided to end their marriage after ten years together.
The One Tree Hill actor shared the update on Instagram on January 16, 2026, addressing weeks of online speculation. Hilton said he has always been private about family matters but felt clarity was necessary.
He wrote that the decision was made some time ago and emphasized that their children remain their highest priority. Hilton thanked fans for respecting their privacy as they move forward as co-parents.
The couple shares two children, daughter Winnie and son Benny. Megan Park has not issued a public statement regarding the separation.
Sources close to the former couple describe the split as amicable and focused on maintaining stability for their children. The pair had recently worked together on Park’s 2024 film My Old Ass and celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary in October 2025, only months before confirming their separation.
Hilton and Park first met in 2007 while filming the indie film Charlie Bartlett in Toronto. Their on-screen chemistry quickly turned into a real life relationship. After dating for several years, Hilton proposed in 2013, and they married in October 2015 in an intimate ceremony in Malibu.
Megan Park is a Canadian actress, singer, and filmmaker known for her role on The Secret Life of the American Teenager and for directing the acclaimed film The Fallout. She has since established herself as a rising director and creative voice in Hollywood.
Hilton, now 42, has continued working in music and television while maintaining a largely private personal life.
While the exact reasons behind the separation were not disclosed, both Hilton and Park are said to be committed to respectful co-parenting and preserving a supportive environment for their children.
Their story, which began nearly two decades ago, now enters a new chapter defined by mutual respect and shared responsibility.
