Hollywood star Timothee Chalamet has made Academy Awards history by becoming the youngest male actor to receive three acting nominations.

The 30 year old actor earned his latest nomination for Best Actor for his performance in the sports drama Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie. The role adds to his previous Oscar nominations for Call Me by Your Name and A Complete Unknown, placing him among a rare group of performers to reach this achievement before the age of 31.

Chalamet now stands as the youngest man ever to receive three acting nominations, surpassing records that had stood for decades. His nomination also places him in competition this year with established stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, Michael B. Jordan and Wagner Moura.

Marty Supreme received additional recognition with nominations for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay. Chalamet is also credited as a producer on the film, making him the youngest person ever to be nominated for both acting and producing in the same year.

Earlier this month, Chalamet won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical for the same role, becoming the youngest winner in that category’s history. Industry analysts say the recognition reflects his growing influence in both independent and mainstream cinema.

If he wins the Academy Award, Chalamet would become one of the youngest Best Actor winners ever, joining a short list that includes Adrien Brody and Timothy Hutton.

With each nomination, Chalamet continues to strengthen his reputation as one of Hollywood’s most accomplished young performers, turning early promise into sustained awards success.
