Turning Point USA has revealed Kid Rock as the headliner for its “All American Halftime Show,” an alternative broadcast scheduled to air during the Super Bowl, alongside performances from Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.

Turning Point USA has announced that Kid Rock will headline its “All American Halftime Show,” a separately produced event scheduled to air during the Super Bowl on February 8.

The organization confirmed the lineup in a social media post, naming Kid Rock along with country and country-rock artists Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. The show was created as an alternative to the official Super Bowl halftime performance, which will feature Bad Bunny.

Turning Point USA first revealed plans for its own halftime broadcast in October after the NFL announced Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl performer for the game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

Reaction to the lineup has been divided online. Supporters praised the selection of artists and welcomed what they described as a more traditional American music showcase. Critics questioned the choices and the political tone surrounding the event.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Richie, has been a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump in recent years, making his inclusion in the lineup unsurprising to many observers. Speculation that Nicki Minaj might appear at the event followed her recent appearance at a Turning Point USA gathering, but organizers confirmed she will not be part of the performance.

Turning Point USA said the show is intended to provide viewers with an alternative halftime option focused on artists it believes reflect American values and culture. The broadcast is expected to stream online during the Super Bowl window.

With two competing halftime events set for the same night, the contrast between the NFL’s official performance and Turning Point USA’s production underscores how entertainment and politics continue to intersect around one of America’s most-watched sporting events.
