Los Angeles: Crime thriller fans received a major streaming update this week as Season 1 of The Hunting Party officially arrived on Netflix, offering viewers the chance to binge the full first season while waiting for new episodes of the ongoing second season.

The series, which originally premiered on NBC in January 2025, follows FBI profiler Bex Henderson and her specialized task force as they track down dangerous fugitives who escaped from a secret government prison known as “The Pit.” The show’s procedural format features a different criminal investigation in each episode, a structure that has helped build a steady audience across network and streaming platforms.

Season 2, which debuted January 8, 2026, temporarily paused its broadcast schedule because of the Winter Olympics programming window. NBC confirmed that the series will return with Episode 5 on February 26 at 10 p.m. Eastern Time, with new episodes airing weekly and streaming afterward on Peacock.

Upcoming episodes are expected to feature several high-profile guest appearances. Actor Kelsey Grammer will portray cult leader and serial killer Noah Cyrus, while Jefferson White appears as a criminal obsessed with social media influencers. Later in the season, Josh Dallas reunites onscreen with lead star Melissa Roxburgh in a storyline centered on a serial offender known as “The Connecticut Cobbler.”

Although Season 2 has not yet been added to Netflix, the arrival of Season 1 on the platform is expected to introduce the series to a broader global audience, potentially expanding its fan base ahead of future streaming distribution plans.
