The United States launched military strikes against Iranian coastal targets on Tuesday after President Donald Trump said an American Apache helicopter was brought down near the Strait of Hormuz, escalating tensions despite ongoing diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran.
The latest developments come after unverified reports circulated on social media claiming that an aircraft may have crashed near Srinagar close to the India-Pakistan border.
