Addressing the World Governments Summit, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said the UAE has become a trusted global stronghold where stability, prosperity, and innovation coexist.
Speaking during a session titled The Impregnable Fortress, Sheikh Saif stressed that international confidence in the UAE is backed by results, not rhetoric. He said the country currently ranks first worldwide in 264 competitiveness indicators, reflecting long-term planning and institutional strength.
Sheikh Saif highlighted the UAE’s leadership in energy competitiveness, including top global positions in solar power development and nuclear energy production. He pointed to the early establishment of Masdar in 2006 as a defining decision that positioned the country at the forefront of clean energy, technology, and artificial intelligence.
The UAE’s industrial and logistics infrastructure was also cited as a pillar of national security. Emirati-managed logistics networks operate more than 460 ports and terminals across over 70 countries, while the nation remains a key manufacturing partner for companies including Airbus, Boeing, and Tesla. The UAE is also the world’s fifth-largest aluminum producer.
Looking ahead, Sheikh Saif outlined the country’s ambition to transition from an oil-based economy to an intelligence-producing one. He revealed plans for massive AI infrastructure capable of generating 100 trillion intelligence tokens daily, supported by local AI models developed at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence.
Beyond economics and technology, Sheikh Saif emphasized the UAE’s humanitarian role, noting that the country is among the world’s largest aid donors, supporting more than 30 countries. He referenced substantial humanitarian assistance to Gaza, including food supplies, water desalination projects, and financial aid.
In a direct message to residents and global investors, Sheikh Saif said families, faith, wealth, and industries are protected within what he described as the UAE’s unbreakable fortress. He noted that the country remains the world’s leading wealth magnet, with nearly 10,000 millionaires relocating annually and total private wealth exceeding $785 billion.
He credited President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with safeguarding national stability, describing leadership, unity, and shared values as the true foundation of security.
“Our strength lies in our unity and values,” Sheikh Saif said. “This is why the world trusts the UAE.”
