The Philadelphia 76ers continue their West Coast road trip Tuesday night with a game against the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco.
Philadelphia enters the contest with a 28–21 record after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night. Guard Tyrese Maxey led the Sixers in that win with 29 points, five rebounds, and six assists, while Dominick Barlow added 26 points and 16 rebounds.
However, the Sixers will be without their franchise center Joel Embiid, who has been ruled out due to right ankle and right knee injury management. The decision comes as part of the team’s effort to preserve Embiid’s health during a back to back stretch and ahead of the playoff push.
Golden State enters the matchup with a 27–23 record after a home loss to the Detroit Pistons. In that game, Stephen Curry scored 23 points, but he will not suit up against Philadelphia. The Warriors are also missing Jimmy Butler, Seth Curry, and Jonathan Kuminga, leaving their rotation significantly depleted.
With both teams missing multiple starters, the outcome is expected to hinge on bench production and defensive execution. Coaches from both sides have emphasized resilience and energy as deciding factors in a game that could impact playoff positioning.
Tipoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. Eastern Time in San Francisco.
