Western Iraq: A US Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker crashed in western Iraq during ongoing military operations in the region, according to a statement from US Central Command (CENTCOM).
Military officials said the incident occurred during operations linked to the conflict involving Iran. Two aircraft were involved in the event, but only one went down while the second aircraft landed safely.
